Cleaning your ziamond jewelry with toothbrush and mild detergent

All Ziamond lab created diamond quality cubic zirconia gems can be worn and cleaned just as you would your fine diamond jewelry. Ziamond gems can get dirty with day to day wear, just like natural mined diamonds and other gemstones, so you do have to clean them from time to time so they shine bright with their original luster and brilliance. Fingerprints, body oils, soaps, hairsprays, and lotions are all daily items that your jewelry is exposed to. All of these items can affect the brilliance of your genuine diamonds as well as your Ziamond lab created diamond simulant cubic zirconia gems and jewelry. However, since Ziamond gems are diamond cut and diamond polished, they will not absorb any of these materials into the stone itself, they can simply be cleaned with regular jewelry cleaner. Keep your gold and jewelry away from harsh chemicals such as chlorine and other toxic cleaning fluids because they can have a chemical reaction with even precious metals. This will reduce daily abrasions and prolong the gold's luster.

To clean your gold jewelry, use a solution of warm water and detergent-free soap and wash gold gently with a soft-bristled brush (a dull tooth brush works well).

Store your jewelry pieces separately in soft cloth bags or original boxes to protect them from the exposure to harsh daily elements.

1. Simply soak your Ziamond cubic zirconia jewelry in any fine diamond cleaner for approximately 20 minutes.

2. Use an old soft bristled toothbrush to gently clean your gems and jewelry.

3. Have a bowl of hot tap water ready to rinse your jewelry. The water should be hot so it can break down and  wash away any build up of oils, lotions or soaps.

4. Dry your jewelry with a soft dry cloth. Repeat if necessary, sometimes dirt and oil build up can take a few cleanings to thoroughly remove.
