Take my advice…
I'm so glad that I found this site and was able to get almost exactly what I wanted (I was looking for a 2 ct. in a cushion cut, but it was offered in 2.5 ct.). Here's a little piece of advice to anyone considering this option for fine jewelery: BUY FROM ZIAMOND.COM. My fiance and I are relatively young and when we started looking at engagement rings I was more than perplexed by the differences in prices and quality among the jewelers that we visited. Unless you have a money tree, I'd suggest going this route. I explained it to my fiance like this: "I can either blow $10k on a near perfect Diamond, or I can get you one that looks exactly the same and we can put $9,500 towards a house". I realize that's not the contemporary "American" way of doing things...but both my wife and I are happy with the quality of the ring and we're still debt free.

Simply Stunning
I have a wide wedding band with diamond eternity bands soldered to each side. So I bought this stone to have mounted in the center. When I went to pick it up from the jeweler, it quite literally took my breath away. It is more beautiful than any diamond that I have ever seen. I was pleasantly surprised with this purchase. Looks like a million bucks for a very meager price!!

Unfortunately too small
I just received my loose stone 1.5 carat, I love it!, but it is too small for my ring. I thought I was being modest in selecting this size stone but i need a 3-4 ct. for it to look right. Hate that I can't exchange the stone... I have tried cz's before, and this one looks just like a Diamond. I was so surprised.
