We looked for a couple of months at rings, going to all the jewelry stores here in town and at the mall and everytime I came back to look at the Luccia set. My husband ordered me this set last year for Christmas. When it arrived, I thought we had received the wrong band, since the edges look quite obviously rounded in the photo). I sent the band back, asking them to send me the rounded band, and was assured after waiting for six weeks that I had, in fact, received the matching band. I do like the rings a lot and wear them together, but they're not the perfectly matched set that I hoped they would be.
My husband and I debated for months over buying a diamond or a Ziamond. I have a problem with losing things and didn't want to invest a huge amount of money on something I would likely lose. We chose the 2.5 in the platinum setting and I receive so many compliments. My own mother couldn't believe it when I let the "secret" slip. Jewelers have even commented on how beautiful my ring is! The only issue I have with the ring is that the spacing of the stones in the band are a little off, but overall I am incredibly happy with our purchace.
I was disappointed. I bought the 2.5 ct. and band. the band did not seem to compliment the solitaire. I do wear the band with a wide hammered yellow gold band and gets lots and lots of compliments. However the band's color has worn and I need to have it plated again.
