Perfect for what I needed it for
Lost a ruby from an estate ring that I own. I ordered a stone from Ziamond and it did the trick. It blends right in with the real rubies in my ring and looks great.
Ziamond’s round lab-grown ruby synthetic loose stones offer you the finest genuine man made lab created ruby alternative at a fraction of the cost. Our round man made rubies are created in a laboratory under the same conditions as nature takes to make a genuine mined natural Ruby gemstone. They possess the same physical, chemical, and optical characteristics of natural rubies. While they are technically imitation ruby gems and sometimes referred to as fake rubies, they possess the same physical, chemical, and optical characteristics of natural rubies. Our man made round red rubies are lab created and lab grown synthetic Corundum. Corundum is the name of the natural crystalline structure of a genuine ruby. They are also just as hard, with a hardness of 9 on the Mohs scale and are hand cut and hand polished in the same manner as genuine precious rubies. Ziamond's synthetic round rubies can be worn daily with peace of mind to withstand the day to day rigors of daily wear. Our man made rubies undergo all the same post mining finishing processes that a fine genuine ruby does. They are all hand cut and hand polished to fine gem quality specifications, insuring proper reflection and refraction of a rich and lustrous color of gem quality red rubies. Choose your preferred size among the menu options. Custom stone cutting services are also available via special order. Email us with your exact dimensions or a copy of your written appraisal. There are no returns on all loose stones, they are a final sale, see the policies page for our terms and conditions.

The Ziamond Distinction
Lost a ruby from an estate ring that I own. I ordered a stone from Ziamond and it did the trick. It blends right in with the real rubies in my ring and looks great.
I ordered and received two "rubies" which are not deep red as seen on their website, they have a pinkish hue. The jewelers I am using to make a custom ring told me they do not look like rubies, which I agreed, I had to use another stone to complete the ring. Now Ziamond is being very difficult and is charging a 35% restocking fee and not paying for return shipping if I return the stones. Very disappointing.
I have purchased this stone twice now. The color is such a nice red.
